The Future of Generative AI: Copyright and Infringement Issues
Rapid advancements in generative artificial intelligence (Generative AI) have sparked a global revolution, ushering in a new era of accelerated automation that promises to upend industries, boost productivity, and potentially displace significant portions of the white- and blue-collar workforce. However, the rise of Generative AI also presents numerous challenges, particularly in the realm of copyright and infringement. The use of copyrighted works as training data for AI models has sparked fierce debates among creators, artists, writers, and programmers who object to their creations being utilized without attribution or compensation. Whether AI-generated content should be protected under copyright law is contentious, as the traditional copyright framework was designed for human creators. This paper delves into the copyright and infringement challenges posed by Generative AI, examining the legal framework, case studies, and potential solutions. It argues that a strategic approach is necessary to navigate the complexities of this rapidly evolving technology while ensuring the protection of intellectual property rights. The paper concludes by advocating for the development of comprehensive legal frameworks that balance the benefits of Generative AI with the need to safeguard creators’ rights.

The Impact of the WTO Agricultural Agreement on Developing Countries
Agricultural insurance, as an agricultural risk management tool to disperse agricultural risks, compensate farmers' losses and safeguard agricultural production, has become an indispensable part of the agricultural security system in various countries. However, due to the high cost of agricultural insurance, many countries provide financial subsidies for agricultural insurance. This paper introduces the help of agricultural insurance subsidies to countries in World Trade Organization (WTO), summarizes the main features and inadequacies of relevant WTO rules, and analyzes the existing problems of agricultural insurance subsidies from four aspects based on the practice of American agricultural insurance subsidies. The main conclusions of this paper include: first, the rules of agricultural insurance subsidy are limited and the classification is not clear, which seriously harms the agricultural development of developing countries; second, income insurance and natural disaster insurance in premium subsidies are regarded as "green box" tools, which need to meet certain conditions, otherwise there is still the possibility of being regarded as "amber box" tools; third, the current WTO rules on agricultural insurance subsidies are more conducive to the development of developed countries, but the agricultural insurance subsidies in developing countries lag behind and are difficult to implement, and the rules on agricultural insurance subsidies urgently need to be improved. Fourth, the double standards of developed countries and developing countries have caused differences in the classification of agricultural insurance subsidies. Finally, the thesis puts forward some suggestions on the compliance development of China's agricultural insurance subsidies under the framework of WTO rules.

A Case Study of a Chinese English Language Learner: Effective English Language Learning Through Interaction
This article examines the English learning process of Mei, a 20-year-old Chinese university student, using both quantitative and qualitative analysis methods. Qualitatively, semi-structured interviews and natural observations explored Mei's learning experiences and social language use. Quantitatively, her English proficiency was assessed through CEFR-standard language assessment tests. The study found that: 1) Mei demonstrated high cultural and linguistic sensitivity in social English, effectively using slang and humor; 2) While her vocabulary and syntax skills were sufficient for daily and academic conversations, her vocabulary depth was lacking in complex contexts, potentially due to native language interference. These findings have significant implications for second language acquisition teaching, highlighting the importance of cultural knowledge and suggesting personalized teaching methods to enhance learners' language communication and cultural understanding.

Consumer Confusion: The Sole Focus of Trademark Law
In recent years, the expansion of the global marketplace, driven by the digital revolution, has led to a growing complexity in trademark disputes. The balance between protecting intellectual property and preventing consumer confusion has become increasingly delicate. Traditionally, trademark law was designed primarily to prevent consumer confusion and ensure fair competition. However, with the introduction of the dilution concept, this focus has shifted, resulting in expanded trademark rights that can inhibit innovation and free competition. This paper revisits the original intent of trademark law, advocating for a refocus on consumer confusion as the core principle. Through an examination of legislative intent, theoretical underpinnings, and case law, this paper demonstrates the need to reorient trademark protections to ensure they serve the broader goal of market fairness and economic development. This research highlights that excessive protection of trademark rights can lead to monopolistic practices, which ultimately harm both consumers and market competition. It contributes to the ongoing discussion about how to balance trademark rights with consumer protection, aiming to guide future legal reforms that foster both innovation and competition.
