Technological Advances in Early Childhood Bilingual Learning: A Quantitative Analysis

This study explores the multifaceted role of technology in augmenting early childhood bilingual education, emphasizing interactive software, multimedia resources, online communication, and programming for cognitive development. Through a series of quantitative analyses, this research delineates the significant impact of technology-enhanced learning environments on vocabulary acquisition, engagement, personalized learning, multimodal learning efficacy, phonetic recognition, cultural immersion, global classroom participation, conversational fluency, cultural competency, logic and problem-solving skills, coding for language learning, and creative expression. Findings from statistical methods, including Pearson correlation coefficients, repeated measures ANOVAs, and pre-and post-test designs, reveal notable improvements in language proficiency, cognitive abilities, cultural awareness, and expressive skills among young learners exposed to technology-integrated instruction. Specifically, gamification in language apps, adaptive learning technologies, multimedia input, and programming tasks have shown to considerably enhance educational outcomes. This paper advocates for a strategic integration of digital tools in early childhood bilingual curriculums to foster a comprehensive developmental approach, thereby preparing students for the challenges of a globalized and technologically advanced society.

The Long-term Effect of Cantonese Usage under the Dominance of Mandarin on Academic Performance
Researches on the effect of bilingualism/diglossia on academic performance conclude disparately yet converge on the children of early school age. This research aims to figure out the longer-term influence of Cantonese usage on academic performance by conducting a large sample survey and the Chinese reading literacy assessment of PISA 2018 on 100 young citizens aged 18 to 25 in Guangdong province. In addition to reconfirming the vastness of Cantonese-Mandarin bilinguals in Guangdong province, China, The Language History Questionnaire 3 detected a categorically strong dominance of Mandarin in the Cantonese districts of Guangdong. Nevertheless, it is still not suggested that the Guangdong parents preclude Cantonese from family language planning out of worry about the children’s academic performance, drawing on the result that no negative effect of Cantonese usage was found in the correlation test.

The Influence of Parasocial Relations on Contemporary Chinese Young Women's Idol Worship: A Study on Fan Culture
With the booming development of socio-economic and Internet technology, social culture has also continued to improve and enrich the times. Fan culture is given a new cultural connotation, and the fans cover the coverage of all sectors of society, which has attracted widespread attention. This study explores the correlation between parasocial relationships and celebrity worship among young Chinese women, utilizing questionnaires to examine how social connections influence celebrity worship behavior and its impact on well-being. The findings reveal a significant association between parasocial connections with celebrities and the level of celebrity worship. Despite potential adverse effects, celebrity worship provides emotional support and fosters a positive outlook on the future through parasocial relationships. The research also delves into the psychological mechanisms underlying the formation of these relationships, emphasizing the role of social media and celebrity culture. Understanding celebrity worship among young Chinese women contributes to our understanding of fan behavior, personal identity development, and the broader socio-cultural context of media and celebrity in contemporary society.

Analysis of Legal Protection of Non-traditional Trademarks from a Global Perspective—Taking Scent Trademarks as an Example
With the constant advancement of the economy and technology, especially the development of high-tech technology, the traditional trademark can no longer meet the needs of social and enterprise development. From traditional visual trademarks to three-dimensional trademarks, sound marks, and even scent marks, non-traditional trademarks are playing an increasingly important role in transactions. Therefore, the legal protection of non-traditional trademarks is particularly important. By collecting and reading the relevant references and materials, this paper adopts the methods of literature analysis, comparison method, and case analysis to analyze of Legal protection of non-traditional trademarks from a global perspective—taking scent trademarks as an example. The paper points out the current situation in the protection of non-traditional trademarks, taking scent marks as an example, and puts forward some feasible suggestions, such as: Reference the "staff " representation method, Promoting scientific and technological progress, and Scent branding prompts in the product. It can be concluded that the registration and protection systems of scent trademarks in various countries are not perfect, they can be shown in the strict requirements for registrable trademarks regarding the representation of odor, the distinctiveness of trademark registration, and the functional of marks. Countries should pay more attention to them. The study suggests that it is necessary to improve the scent trademark legislation, which is conducive to better protection of intellectual property rights, encourage innovation of enterprises, and safeguard the interests of enterprises.

Educational Inequality in the Context of China's Educational Expansion
Since the conclusion of World War II, the topic of educational growth has garnered global interest, including in China. While the education expansion program has given several benefits and advantages to China, there are still many faults in the strategy. This paper examines the issue of educational inequality within the framework of educational growth in China. The paper examines educational inequity in China within the framework of educational growth, focusing on four key areas: educational inequity stemming from socio-economic factors, urban-rural disparities, insufficient secondary education, and gender disparities. After examining the aforementioned factors, this study asserts that the issue of educational inequality persists and proves to be particularly challenging to eradicate in certain areas, such as socio-economic disparity. Based on this, this paper puts forward the following suggestions. First, the government needs to increase spending on education. Second, attention should be paid to improving the balance of educational distribution. Finally, there is a need to close the gender gap in higher education. These guidelines are the best alternative to achieving equality in education.

A Study on the Semantics of the Sichuan Dialect Word “Ba(巴)” Based on the Cognitive Perspective

The Sichuan dialect word “ba(巴)” is widely used and has a high frequency of occurrence within the dialect area. It is characterized by its rich semantic meanings and diverse parts of speech, making it one of the most representative common words in Sichuan dialect. However, existing dialect dictionaries have issues such as incomplete definitions, unclear interpretations, and uncertain grammatical properties, which call for further careful revisions. Cognitive linguistics, one of the current research hotspots in linguistics, can fundamentally explain the intrinsic mechanisms and external manifestations of lexical semantic formation. This paper, based on the cognitive perspective and within the macro-framework of Prototype Category Theory, employs the theories of metaphor, metonymy, and image schema to conduct a micro-level analysis and clarification of the original meaning and extended meanings of the Sichuan dialect word “ba(巴)”. It attempts to provide cognitive reasoning for interpreting the meanings of dialect words in dictionaries, as well as to offer new perspectives and cases for exploring the semantics of dialect words.
